Due to conversion formula in the upper paragraph if you want to convert Kelvins to degrees Fahrenheit you have to multiply Kelvins by 9 divide the result by 5 and then subtract 459.67.
So the conversion of 100 K will be: ((100 × 9) ÷ 5) - 459.67 = (900 ÷ 5 ) - 459.67 = 180 - 459.67 = -279.67 °F
