Methuselahs Conversion
A methuselah a large wine bottle containing 8 times the volume of a standard bottle, so about 6 L. The Imperial also holds 6 L. The bottle gets its name from the biblical patriarch Methuselah who is said to have been the man with the longest lifespan.
Midases (midas) Conversion
A midas or Melchizedek is the largest type of champagne or wine bottle with the capacity of 30 L or 40 times the size of a standard 750 ml bottle. The names of those bottles come from either biblical or mythical background (from the names of a Greek king and a biblical king of Salem).
